All our 400 vehicles at Mercury Taxis operate with the very latest technology installed into their vehicles.

Each one of our vehicles operate using the new Eclipse 360 computerised data system integrated with state of the art GPS technology. Right through from booking to despatch each individual drivers progress is monitored from acceptance to completion of each job that is allocated.

We always aim to be at the forefront of all taxi innovations; the latest being our IVR (Intelligent Voice Recognition) system that has now been running successfully for the last twelve months. Some of our calls take less than ten seconds to be dealt with from start to finish using this service, once again giving you more time for yourself to do other business.

As soon as your booking is entered into our system our computer will automatically search for the closest car to the pick-up address and send the job to the data unit in the vehicle. All this is done through our data despatch system. No outside agencies ever have access to our systems, thereby giving you complete peace of mind.

Mercury Taxis have invested over £2.5 million in this high-tech system and subsequent updates over the last few years, thus being able to allow us to despatch and complete over 1.4 millions bookings last year alone.
