Mercury Taxis are the only taxi company in the South Yorkshire area who are able to offer a fully secure and completely mobile Chip and PIN payment service within its vehicles.

From Friday February 18th, our customers will be able to enjoy the ease and convenience, as well as security, of paying by credit or debit card in 30 of Mercury’s cars, with the rest of the fleet joining the Chip and PIN ranks in the following months.
